I have said it before, there is something truly magical about the time between christmas and New Years. Can you feel it? So much of the hustle and bustle has settled down. It is my time to fully commit to 20 minutes of restorative yoga each day. The benefits I receive are outstanding. I leave each pose daily feeling inspired, relaxed, and refreshed in my mind, body, and spirit. It's a practice I have been doing for several years now, and I won't miss a day.
I love this time of year to reflect on the past year - looking at all the blessings of the year and all the lessons learned. Each year and season is different, but I do know there are always blessing and lessons. Reflection, prayer, & meditation are crucial to healing during this time.
I find it to be a beautiful time to slow down and reevaluate and leave the things that are no longer serving me. This can be my attitude, a job, relationships, material objects, etc/
